Senior consultant specialising in Public Affairs, Institutional Relations and Strategic Communication, with more than three decades of experience in public administrations, regional governments and companies.

Education
Degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). Master’s in Corporate and Advertising Communication from UCM and Diploma of Advanced Studies (doctoral programme) from the UCM Department of Communication Theories and Analysis. Specialist in Data Analysis for Social and Market Research, and Expert in State and International Protocol and Ceremonial, from the Diplomatic School of Madrid and the University of Oviedo.
Professional background
He has been Director of Communications of the Office of the Spokesperson of the Government of the Balearic Islands, and Director General of Communications in several local administrations. His career also includes heading Communications, Marketing and Business Development at companies such as Soltour (Grupo Piñero), as well as consulting projects for public and private organisations such as Navantia and UPA-COAG.
Teaching
Since 2001 he has taught Institutional Communication and Public Image at the Faculty of Information Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid, and Political and Electoral Communication in the university’s Master’s in Organisational Communication.
Publications
He has published analysis and opinion articles in national media such as El País, El Español and The Conversation on communication, politics and society, including “La democracia simplificada”, “¿Por qué gana el Show Party?”, “La paradoja Zuckerberg-Cifuentes” and “Cuando Rivera invadió Rusia” (in Spanish). He is also the author of academic and professional publications, among them “La función del Portavoz y del Sistema de Portavoces en la Comunicación de las Instituciones”, “Comunicación sin Género: liderazgo femenino en la dirección de comunicación” and “El impacto de la desinformación y las redes sociales entre los jóvenes españoles” (in Spanish).
